David Hugh Hickey

Attorney Hickey's areas of practice are family/divorce matters, with an emphasis on Collaborative Family Law and mediation. Attorney Hickey also has an expertise in probate and estate planning, real estate and small business matters.

Attorney Hickey has been appointed by courts in Waukesha County as a Special Master/Mediator/Arbitrator and Guardian ad Litem in many cases throughout his 35 year career.

Attorney Hickey has participated in numerous trials and hearings in the Family Law area over his Career. Given this experience, Attorney Hickey has developed and continues to develop an emphasis toward Collaborative Family Law and mediation related to Family Law issues, including but not limited to legal custody and placement issues, maintenance (alimony) issues and all financial issues presented in the numerous Family Law cases he has handled.

Currently Attorney Hickey serves as chairman of the Waukesha County Ethics Board of Commissioners and as chairman of the Board of Commissioners of the City of Waukesha Housing Authority.
